For a $50 monthly fee, Sprint is giving you unlimited data, talk and text, plus 10 GB per month to use as mobile hotspot data. The offer is also advantageous for families: 2 lines cost $80 ($40 per line), 3 lines cost $100 ($33.3 per line), while 4 lines can be had for $120 ($30 per line).
The table included below (click to zoom in) shows the Unlimited Freedom plan compared to the unlimited plans available at Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Unless the other US carriers start reducing their prices, Sprint's plan is obviously the best option if you're looking to save some money and you need one or more new smartphone lines.
Sprint also announced that, as of today, it's ending its "Switch to Sprint and save 50% on Verizon, AT&T, or T-M obile rates" promotion that debuted in late 2015.
The fact that the $50 Unlimited Freedom plan will live on comes as a bit of a surprise, because, last month, Sprint's Chief Financial Officer suggested that prices for unlimited data should go up. But we don't think any customer will complain about this, right?
