As per reports, the Moto E4 Plus might be the larger brother to the Moto E4.
Seems Moto E4 Plus bearing the model number XT1773 may have just been certified by the FCC and is getting ready for the launch a new Moto smartphone soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device with model number XT1773 has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US. Recently another device with model number XT1723 which is expected to be the Moto E4 and a successor to Moto E3 also received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification. As per reports, the Moto E4 Plus might be the larger brother to the Moto E4.
The FCC listing reveals some connectivity features of Moto E4 Plus, which include 4G LTE compatibility, 2.4 GHz WiFi 802.11-n support, Bluetooth Low Energy version 4.2, and NFC. The are two FCC ID'd in the listing in which one shows NFC feature while another comes without NFC. Apart from these connectivity features, the FCC document also revelaed the the Moto E4 Plus might have a non-removable battery. The Moto E4 Plus alongwith Moto E4 is expected to replace the Moto E3 and the Moto E3 Power smartphones which were launched last year.
The listing has also been revealed by popular leakster Roland Quandt via his official Twitter handle. As per his tweet, Moto E4 Plus is shown backed up by a 5000mAH battery and it is powered by MediaTek SoC. Since, Moto E4 came with XT1723, we can safely assume that XT1773 device is indeed Moto E4 Plus. Earlier FCC listing of Moto E4 showed 16GB of internal storage and 4000mAh of battery for the smartphone.
Earlier also, another device with model number XT1750 received FCC certification which revealed that smartphone would be having 8GB of internal storage.
Recently, two Moto smartphones with model numbers XT1750 & XT1754 received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). As per reports, out of the two devices, one could be the upcoming Motorola X 2017 or Moto C smartphone. As per the Wi-Fi certification, the Moto XT1750 will be powered by octa-core Mediatek 6580 chipset while Moto XT1754 is powered by quad core Mediatek 6737 chipset. The listing shows both of these smartphones running on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Earlier, some more Moto smartphones with model numbers XT1670/XT1671/XT1675/XT1676 with codename 'Cedric' were leaked by Roland Quandt who revealed that new Motorola smartphones will come in two variants - 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The smartphones are said to come in single and dual sim options and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. They will be backed up by 2800 mAh removable battery. The devices are also expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC.
