Reportedly, the Moto C and Moto C Plus are made for first-time smartphone users, and will be Motorola Mobility's cheapest smartphones to date (though there's no word on their exact prices).
Both the Moto C and Moto C Plus run Android 7 Nougat, and sport 5-inch displays with different pixel resolutions: 854 x 480, and 1280 x 720, respectively. The two devices are powered by quad-core MediaTek processors, and feature LTE connectivity, although the Moto C will al so have a 3G-only model.
The Moto C Plus - pictured above - offers 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM (depending on region), 16 GB of expandable internal storage space, 8 MP and 2 MP cameras (rear and front) with LED flashes, and a very generous 4000 mAh battery. Given the phone's modest specs and screen, this battery should last for quite a long time on a single charge.
The Moto C will only offer 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB or 16 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2350 mAh battery. As for cameras, the handset should have a 5 MP rear one, and a 2 MP front-facing one, once again with LED flashes.
For now, it's not clear where the Moto C and Moto C Plus will be sold, so we don't know if they're going to be officially released in the US. Nevertheless, Motorola will likely announce something about this in the near future. Stay tuned!
