Update your BMW's Navigation map database to the latest version (2016.1). This update is supported by all BMW's equipped with navigation systems from model year 2009 - 2016. The update covers all of North America including Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. T After placing your order, you will receive an email with the download link and instructions on how to extract the files to a USB drive and install the update. Since we have to obtain a vehicle specific release code for the map update, the download email will arrive approximately two hours after purchase (during normal business hours). Depending on your computer's speed and internet service, the download and extraction process typically takes two to four hours but may take up to six hours.
