Despite the Galaxy S hype, a news update for an older Samsung phone also managed to attract a considerable amount of attention. Earlier this week, the South Korean manufacturer confirmed that it will sell refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices, so we were curious to see if you're still interested in owning one of those. Thus, we decided to publish this poll yesterday, and the results that we've got pretty much speak for themselves.
Over 4,200 of our readers voted, and nearly 22% are ready to buy the Note 7 if it becomes available in their country. About 58% (2,436 people) are prepared to purchase the device, should Samsung offer a big enough discount for the refurbished phones. 11% of voters aren't against the idea, but they would m uch rather save up for the Galaxy S8. On the other side of the spectrum sit nearly 400 people (9.36% of the vote) who claim that they wouldn't buy the Note 7, as last year's recall made them lose their trust in Samsung.
So, what conclusion can be drawn here? The most obvious one is that interest in the Note 7 is still very high, despite (or maybe even due to?) the fiasco that played out in late 2016. If anyone at Samsung is watching, it might be a good idea to take a few notes, as nearly 80% of our readers are prepared to buy these refurbished phones if the price is right. The results of the poll are located below, and if you'd like to find out more about the enigmatic handset, feel free to check out our Samsung Galaxy Note 7 review.
