Even though previous rumors suggest Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be made available for pre-order on April 7, a new report says otherwise. Dutch blog AndroidWorld cites trustworthy sources that claim Samsung Galaxy S8 should be up for pre-order the same day it gets revealed, March 29.
The information specifically refers to the Galaxy S8's availability in the Netherlands and Belgium, but it's likely that other European markets will open pre-orders for the flagship at the same time.
As far as pricing goes, there aren't any surprises. The same sources indicate Samsung Galaxy S8 prices start at €799, whereas the Galaxy S8+ will cost €899. Unlike previous years, Samsung won't be offering any bonuses for those who pre-order either of the two smartphones this time.
The only thing that remains to be determined is when exactly the pre-ordered smartphones will be delivered. For the time being, various reports claim the Galaxy S8 could hit the shelves between early and late April, which doesn't help us much.
Obviously, the pre-order and release dates for the Galaxy S8/S8+ could change at any time if the need arises, so take the information with a grain of salt for now.
