WhatsApp brings offline messages queue feature on iOS, redesigns storage usage screen

iOS users rejoice, as WhatsApp has just released another update that adds a couple of interesting new features. The update isn't available on any other platform, so if you don't own an iOS device don't look for any updates on your end.

The main improvement included in the update is the addition of a new feature that allows users to tap send on messages even when they don't have a connection.

For example, if you want to send a message when you're offline, you can write it tap send. Obviously, the message will remain on your phone until you're in range of a Wi-Fi or mobile network.

Aside from the new offline message queue, WhatsApp also announced it has decided to redesign the storage usage screen, so users will now be able to manager their phone's storage space by clearing certain messages types, including videos, from specific chats. In order to do that, simply head to Settings / Data and Storage Usage / Storage Usage.

Lastly, with the latest version of WhatsApp, iOS users will be able to send up to 30 photo or videos at once. Make sure to check for the update in the App Store if you wan t to take advantage of the new features.
