The second one doesn't stand out through specs either, but it's its other unusual features that makes this smartphone unique. According to Kyocera, the Rafre is washable with foaming soap and can be used even when it's wet (touchscreen included).
It's also resistant to hot water, so it doesn't matter if you drop it when your bathtub. Oddly enough, the phone pre-loa ded with a cooking app that can be operated with hand gestures, so you don't have to touch the display while actually cooking.
Specs-wise, Kyocera Rafre sports a 5-inch display that supports HD (720p) resolution, and packs 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 200GB via microSD card).
The back side features a 13-megapixel camera with Kyocera's proprietary image-processing AINOS Engine, and PDAF (phase detection autofocus), while on the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Also, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and it's powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Kyocera Rafre is available in Japan via major carrier KDDI in Pale Pink, Clear White and Light Blue colors.
