LG Stylo 2 Plus, the mid-range Android smartphone making the rounds at various carriers in the United States, has just been updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. If you're a T-Mobile customer and own LG's handset, then you'll be pleased to know you're eligible for a software upgrade.
T-Mobile updated its support website to confirm its LG Stylo 2 Plus is now getting Android 7.0 Nougat. Software version K55010p is what you'll be looking for in order to upgrade the phone.
Aside from the new feature and improvements included in Android 7.0 Nougat, T-Mobile also mentions it added "software stability and bug fixes." It's worth noting that the update is not that massive since it weighs in at around 555MB, but it's yet unclear what security patch it contains.
Although the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, you can manually check for it starting today by heading to Settings / General / About phone / Update Center / System Update. The MetroPCS version should be getting the update soon as well.
