Spectranet witnessed a decline in its broadband speed which was earlier recorded at 2.34 Mbps.

Airtel, which is the country's leading telecom service provider by subscribers, offers broadband services via cable, DSL, wireless and fiber. Spectranet just provides its broadband services through fiber.
7 Star Digital Network, a provider of cable TV, digital Media, broadband and entertainment services, emerged as the third fastest internet service provider with 2.06 mbps speed, moving up fourth spots. Its previous speed was recorded at 1.77 mbps, as per Netflix's ISP Speed Index.
ATRIA Convergence Technologies moved to one spot down to fourth fastest internet service provider with 2.00 Mbps speed, as compared to its earlier 2.18 Mbps speed .
Hathway moved one spot up to bag the fifth position with 1.93 Mbps speed, followed by YOU Broadband with 1.84 Mbps speed.
Reliance Communications stood at eight spot with 1.81 Mbps speed, witnessing an increase in its internet speed from 1.71 Mbbs.
Tikona, Tata Communications, Syscon Infoway stood at ninth, tenth and eleventh spots, respectively, while state-run MTNL and BSNL remained at the bottom positions with 1.29 and 1.09 Mbps speeds, respectively.
The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a me asure of prime time Netflix performance on particular ISPs (internet service providers) around the globe, and not a measure of overall performance for other services/data that may travel across the specific ISP network, the company said.
