Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 leaked specs include Exynos 7420 chipset, 4GB RAM

The highly-anticipated Galaxy Tab S3 family is just around the corner. In fact, if we are allowed a prediction we would bet for a late February announcement at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Due to the Galaxy Note 7's issues, the Galaxy Tab S3 series has been delayed into Q1 2017, and since Samsung won't be announcing the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017, we believe the company will use this opportunity to focus on its tablet lineup.

Earlier this month, the unannounced Galaxy Tab S3 received its Bluetooth certification, which put the tablet one step closer to unveil. Today, new details about the slab's specs leaked directly from China.

According to new information posted on Weibo, Samsung will include Exynos 7420 chipset inside its Galaxy Tab S3 tablet. In addition, the tablet will pack 4GB of RAM, USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor under the Home button.

There's no mention of the internal memory amount, but the report suggests the tablet will feature UFS 2.0 storage technology. There will be at least two Galaxy Tab S3 models launched on the market: LTE (SM-T825) and Wi-Fi only (SM-T820).

However, there's no word on price and availability yet, so we will probably have to wait one more month for Samsung to provide us with this information as well.
