Huawei P8 Lite (2017) coming to the UK on February 1, priced to sell at £185

The P8 Lite (2017) was officially introduced less than two weeks ago, but the smartphone won't make its debut in Europe until early February. The smartphone will be available in the UK starting February 1 where it will be offered by major carrier Vodafone.

It won't be available for purchase online, but customers can pick this one up via Vodafone's brick and mortar stores. It will cost £185 on pay-as-you-go, or £16 a month on contract.

Other carriers and retailers might start offering the P8 Lite (2017) in the UK later on, and the phone might even go on sale online at Vodafone.

Huawei P8 Lite (2017) is a mid-range smartphone more in the high-end region, as it packs an octa-core Kirin 655 processor. However, with just 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card), the P8 Lite (2017) won't make it to the upper league.

The Chinese handset maker included a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with PDAF (phased detection autofocus), f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The P8 Lite (2017) comes with dual-SIM and 4G LTE support and runs Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. Connectivity-wise, it packs both 3.5mm audio jack and USB 2.0 port (sorry, not USB Type-C).

The 5.2-inch display supports full HD (1080p) resolution, while a decent 3,000 mAh battery keeps the lights up.
