While you would expect the latest and greatest from Qualcomm's camp to be under the hood of the LG G6, there is speculation that all of the Snapdragon 835 chips produced on the initial manufacturing runs have been promised to Samsung for the Galaxy S8. If true, the Snapdragon 821 chipset will drive LG's new flagship. For a phone that continues to ring up sales that fall short of Samsung's annual flagship, that cannot be good news if it is legitimate. The LG G6 is said to have an IP certification rating and a non-replaceable battery. We should see LG introduce the LG G6 as soon as next month during MWC in Barcelona.
Check out the latest picture of the LG G6 in the slideshow. Will LG be able to satisfy its fans with this phone, or will it take the LG V30 to bail out the company like the LG V10 and LG V20 have arguable done the last two years.
